Laser Hair Removal

If you're not happy with shaving, tweezing, or waxing to remove unwanted hair, laser hair removal may be an option worth considering

Laser Hair Removal QUICK FACTS

  • Treatments every 5 to 8weeks for the body and every 4 to 6 weeks for the face.

  • 90% permanent hair removal in 3 to 8 treatments.

  • Darker hairs respond best to treatment due to a higher concentration of pigment (melanin) in the follicle.

  • Avoid waxing, plucking or threading the area for 2 weeks before treatment.

  • No sun exposure, use of self-tanners (induding spray tans) or use of solariums prior to treatment,

  • Dark hair follicles are usually easy to treat because, again, the laser targets the hair's pigment. This is also why gray, white, blonde, and red pigments can be tricky.

  • Darker tones can also be harder to treat, but not impossible.
